Italian Scallion Sandwich
A sandwich for the family they can't refuse! The scallions add zestful flavor!
Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 large garlic clove, minced
2 scallions, thinly sliced
8 ounces thinly sliced ham
10 ounces thinly sliced part skim mozzarella
12 tomato slices
12 large fresh basil leaves
4 crusty rolls, halved horizontally
Preparation
1. In a medium bowl, whisk olive oil, vinegar, garlic and scallions. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Layer ham, tomato, mozzarella and basil leaves on bottoms of crusty rolls.
3. Drizzle lightly with dressing.
4. Cover with roll tops.
